Kim Granata-Clark, CAE, REAS, M.S. Human Factors and Ergonomics, B.S. Occupational Therapy
Hello. I am a Certified Applied Ergonomist (CAE) and received my certification as a Remote Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (REAS). I have a Master’s Degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics and Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University, CA.
Ergonomics and You—led by your personal Posture Tutor with 20 years of experience—specializes in creating healthy, comfortable, and injury‑preventing workstation setups. I support individuals and organizations with in‑person, remote, and hybrid teams, offering both virtual and on‑site services.
I assess your entire workstation—chair, desk, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and phone use—and provide a detailed report with tailored product suggestions and practical behavioral recommendations.
I also offer engaging in‑person and virtual presentations, including lunch‑and‑learn sessions, to help teams work smarter and feel better.
Say goodbye to discomfort at your computer and hello to healthier habits.
For middle and high school students: Encourage your school to bring us in for a hands‑on session on setting up laptops, tablets, and phones to reduce strain and build lifelong healthy tech habits.
On a personal note: I have been married for 25+ years with an elementary school daughter. I am/was a ballroom dancer and my husband and I ran a Ballroom Dance Ministry at our church in California. I used to teach Ballroom Dance classes at a couple community centers and senior centers in my local area in California. As of 2026, I am teaching at the Omar K. Lightfoot Center in Temple Terrace, FL on Monday nights at 5:30 pm. I love to dance, I love to teach, and sometimes I talk about posture at your workstation like a dancing posture. Dancers do not slouch, and we should not either.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
